That’s a pity – I haven’t read Infinite Jest yet, but it’s been on the list for a while.
It’s a huge investment of time and mindspace, but it’s so, so rewarding. I haven’t read much else of his, which makes me glad in a way, that I have other things to look forward to.
Maybe start a bit smaller, with some of the shorter works, just to get a taste of his incredible skill. I think you’ll fall madly in love.
